Ingredients:
- 2 lbs Snow Crab Legs (thawed)
- Water (enough to fill pot by 1 inch) or dry white wine
- ½ tsp Sea salt
- 1 lemon, sliced into rounds
- ¼ cup Unsalted butter
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Fresh parsley, finely chopped
- ¼ tsp Smoked paprika
Instructions:
- Fill a pot with 1 inch of water and add the lemon slices. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat.
- Place the thawed crab legs in the steamer basket and cover tightly with a lid to trap the moisture.
- Steam for 5–7 minutes until a fragrant, briny aroma is present and shells are hot to the touch.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 60 seconds until fragrant.
- Remove from heat and whisk in the lemon juice and smoked paprika.
- Stir in the fresh parsley just before serving.
- Use tongs to transfer the crab legs to a platter.
- Serve the homemade seafood butter in a warmed ramekin on the side for dipping.
