Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs Snow Crab Legs (thawed)
  • Water (enough to fill pot by 1 inch) or dry white wine
  • ½ tsp Sea salt
  • 1 lemon, sliced into rounds
  • ¼ cup Unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • ¼ tsp Smoked paprika

Instructions:

  1. Fill a pot with 1 inch of water and add the lemon slices. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat.
  2. Place the thawed crab legs in the steamer basket and cover tightly with a lid to trap the moisture.
  3. Steam for 5–7 minutes until a fragrant, briny aroma is present and shells are hot to the touch.
  4. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 60 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Remove from heat and whisk in the lemon juice and smoked paprika.
  6. Stir in the fresh parsley just before serving.
  7. Use tongs to transfer the crab legs to a platter.
  8. Serve the homemade seafood butter in a warmed ramekin on the side for dipping.
