Ingredients:

  • 4 large Medjool dates (approx. 120g)
  • 2 tbsp (32g) creamy sunflower seed butter (unsweetened)
  • 1/4 tsp (1.5g) flaky sea salt
  • 1 tsp (5g) hemp seeds

Instructions:

  1. Place the dates on the cutting board. Use a paring knife to slice lengthwise down the center of each date, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  2. Gently pry the date open to reveal the pit; remove and discard the pit to create a hollow center.
  3. Spoon approximately 1/2 tablespoon (8g) of sunflower seed butter into the center of each date.
  4. Press the butter down slightly with the back of the spoon until the cavity is filled flush with the edge of the date.
  5. Sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt over the filling and top with hemp seeds to ensure they adhere to the butter.
