Ingredients:
- 4 large Medjool dates (approx. 120g)
- 2 tbsp (32g) creamy sunflower seed butter (unsweetened)
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) flaky sea salt
- 1 tsp (5g) hemp seeds
Instructions:
- Place the dates on the cutting board. Use a paring knife to slice lengthwise down the center of each date, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- Gently pry the date open to reveal the pit; remove and discard the pit to create a hollow center.
- Spoon approximately 1/2 tablespoon (8g) of sunflower seed butter into the center of each date.
- Press the butter down slightly with the back of the spoon until the cavity is filled flush with the edge of the date.
- Sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt over the filling and top with hemp seeds to ensure they adhere to the butter.
