Ingredients:

  • 12 large Medjool dates, pitted (280g)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened (115g)
  • 1 tsp honey (5ml)
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1/2 cup raw almonds, chopped (60g)
  • 1 tbsp melted butter (15ml)

Instructions:

  1. Slice each Medjool date lengthwise to create a pocket, ensuring the pits are removed and the fruit remains pliable.
  2. In a small bowl, whip the softened cream cheese with the honey and sea salt using a spoon until the mixture is smooth and airy.
  3. Spoon approximately 1.5 teaspoons of the cheese mixture into the center of each date, pressing it gently to sit flush with the top.
  4. Press one or two toasted almond pieces firmly into the cheese center to lock them in place.
