Ingredients:
- 12 large Medjool dates, pitted (280g)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened (115g)
- 1 tsp honey (5ml)
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 1/2 cup raw almonds, chopped (60g)
- 1 tbsp melted butter (15ml)
Instructions:
- Slice each Medjool date lengthwise to create a pocket, ensuring the pits are removed and the fruit remains pliable.
- In a small bowl, whip the softened cream cheese with the honey and sea salt using a spoon until the mixture is smooth and airy.
- Spoon approximately 1.5 teaspoons of the cheese mixture into the center of each date, pressing it gently to sit flush with the top.
- Press one or two toasted almond pieces firmly into the cheese center to lock them in place.
