Ingredients:

  • 8 oz large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions:

  1. Pat the shrimp completely dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, toss the shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.
  2. Place the skillet over medium-high heat and add the butter. Once the butter foams and begins to smell nutty, stir in the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant but not brown.
  3. Add the shrimp in a single layer. Sear for 2 minutes without moving them to develop a golden crust, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the shrimp are opaque.
  4. Stir in the lemon juice and parsley, tossing for 30 seconds to glaze the shrimp in the emulsified butter.
