Ingredients:
- 8 oz large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions:
- Pat the shrimp completely dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, toss the shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.
- Place the skillet over medium-high heat and add the butter. Once the butter foams and begins to smell nutty, stir in the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant but not brown.
- Add the shrimp in a single layer. Sear for 2 minutes without moving them to develop a golden crust, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the shrimp are opaque.
- Stir in the lemon juice and parsley, tossing for 30 seconds to glaze the shrimp in the emulsified butter.
