Ingredients:
- 12 large Medjool dates, pitted
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 12 walnut halves
- 1 pinch flaky sea salt
- 1 tbsp melted dark chocolate
Instructions:
- Place the dates on a cutting board. Use a paring knife to slice lengthwise down the center, being careful not to cut all the way through. Gently pry the date open and remove the pit if it is still present.
- In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir vigorously until the mixture is smooth and holds a soft peak.
- Spoon approximately 1 teaspoon of the cream mixture into each date pocket. Press a single walnut half firmly into the center of the cream.
- Finish with a tiny pinch of sea salt on top and an optional drizzle of melted dark chocolate.
